The larger of the two models in this range, the ION530 is sized for open plan living rather than a single bedroom, with a clean air delivery rate the supplier rates at 530 cubic metres per hour and a listed coverage area of up to 138 square metres.

Air passes through a five stage system made up of a pre filter, an H13 HEPA filter, an activated carbon filter, a negative ioniser and a UV-C lamp. A digital display reports real time PM2.5 readings, and the same information is available in the smartphone app along with full control of the unit over Wi Fi.

Four fan speeds cover everything from low overnight running to full output, and a timer can be set for up to eight hours. The cabinet stands 650 mm tall on a 325 mm square base and weighs 8.4 kg.
