This four zone induction cooktop drops into a benchtop cut out and gives you a full cooking surface with 6000 W of total power behind it. Nine power levels cover everything from a bare simmer through to a fast boil, so braising, frying, steaming, sauteing and roasting are all handled on the one surface, and all four zones can run at the same time when you are cooking a full meal.

Control is by a touch sensitive glass panel: touch and slide to set the level you want, and each zone holds its own setting independently. Timer and pause functions give you more room to move when several dishes are on the go at once.

Because it is induction, heat goes into the pan rather than into the air around it, and only cookware with a magnetic base will work. Cast iron and magnetic stainless steel pans are both suitable. Practical safety features include automatic shut off if liquid boils over onto the panel, a residual heat indicator so you know a zone is still hot, a child lock, over and under voltage protection and temperature control.
