The half eaten packet of chips, the open bag of frozen peas, the pet food pouch that will not stay shut. This handheld heat sealer runs a clean seal along the top of a plastic bag in seconds, so food goes back in the cupboard properly closed rather than clipped, folded or rubber banded.
It is small enough to live in a kitchen drawer and light enough to take camping or pack in a picnic basket. A rechargeable battery gives up to 30 uses per full charge, and topping it up is a matter of plugging in the supplied USB cable.
It works across common plastics including chip bags, cookie bags, vacuum sealer bags, pet food bags and PP, PE and PVC films, so one tool covers most of the pantry.
