A bench top deli slicer with a 20 cm (8 inch) carbon steel blade, wide enough to take a full ham or a block of cheese in one pass. The blade is 45 grade carbon steel and runs at 350 to 400 rpm, which is the range that gives a clean cut through cold product without dragging or tearing.

A sharpening stone is built into the housing, so the edge can be brought back without removing the blade or sending it out. Thickness is adjustable from 0 to 12 mm, covering everything from paper thin prosciutto to thick cut roast beef and bread slices.

The food pusher has raised spikes to hold product firmly against the carriage, and non slip feet keep the machine steady on the bench through a long slicing run. It handles frozen meat, raw and cooked meats, hams, cheeses and breads, which makes it equally at home in a deli, a sandwich bar, a cafe or a serious home kitchen.
