An 8 in 1 heat press built around a 30 cm x 38 cm Teflon coated platen, designed for transferring letters, numbers, logos and full designs onto T shirts, caps, mugs, plates and other blanks. The steel frame keeps everything square under pressure, which is what separates a clean transfer from a patchy one.

Temperature and time are set on an LCD screen with straightforward buttons, and an audible alarm sounds when the set time and temperature are reached so you are not standing over it with a stopwatch. The arm swings a full 360 degrees, moving the heating element clear to the side between presses and letting the pressure come straight down evenly on the garment.

The spring plate is adjustable and swaps out for the other attachments in the kit, including mug and cap presses, and assembly is tool light. Two layers of thermal insulation cotton, 4 mm aluminium silicate paper and a 10 mm thermostable sponge sit behind the platen to help the transfer. It suits home crafters, market stallholders and small print businesses working across mixed products.
