This 2 x 2 m pop up gazebo comes as a complete kit, with four fillable base pods included so the shelter stays where you put it. The concertina frame opens with a central push button, giving you 200 x 200 cm of shade in minutes and folding back into its carry bag just as fast.

The black canopy is 210D Oxford fabric with a silver coating on the underside, resistant to UV and water and effective at keeping the heat off the space beneath. It sits on a reinforced powder coated steel frame with cross bracing and robust legs, and three height settings let you set the roof anywhere between 1.9 m and 2.3 m.

The base pods clip onto the bottom of each leg with no tools and hold 9 litres each, so a set filled with water adds around 36 kg of ballast, or up to 64 kg with wet sand. That makes this a sensible choice for hard surfaces such as driveways, courtyards and market squares where pegs are not an option, as well as grassed sites where the supplied ropes and pegs can be used instead.
