This portable double induction cooktop gives you two working zones without any installation. It plugs into a standard 10 amp power point, so it suits rentals, granny flats, caravans and kitchens that simply need more cooking space at Christmas.
Nine heat levels cover everything from a delicate sauce to a hot stir fry, and the 2300 W total output means you can boil water on one zone while a stew ticks over on the other. A timer runs up to 180 minutes, so you can set a long simmer and get on with something else. There is no open flame, just direct heat into the base of the pan.
The crystal glass surface wipes clean in seconds and the whole unit is slim enough to store on end in a cupboard between uses. Induction requires cookware with a magnetic base, such as cast iron or suitable stainless steel, in sizes up to 26 cm diameter.
