When a small awning needs to genuinely block the sun rather than just filter it, the solid metal version is the answer. The Primosten measures 1.0 metres deep by 1.2 metres wide, using a solid sheet metal panel on a heavy duty frame for full coverage instead of a translucent compromise.
Finished in black on a powder coated steel frame, it blocks 100 percent of direct sun and rain over a single door or window. There is no fabric and no moving parts, so there is no UV degradation over time and no canopy to replace, and the architectural black finish suits modern home exteriors.
