A four slice pop up toaster built around ceramic heating elements that come up to temperature within seconds. Six temperature settings run from barely golden through to properly dark, so everyone in the house can have it their way.
The left and right sides are controlled independently, which means bagels on one side and sourdough on the other, at different settings, at the same time. Reheat and defrost are one touch functions, and cancel stops a cycle mid run.
Bread is self centred in the slots for even colour, and the mechanism is designed to resist jamming on thicker slices. A pull out cleaning tray takes care of the crumbs, and the cord stows in the base.
