This aluminium tortilla press flattens balls of dough into even rounds in one motion, which is far quicker and more consistent than working with a rolling pin. Place the dough on the plate, bring the arm over and push down.

The long arm works on the lever principle, so the effort at the handle turns into a lot of pressure at the plate. That matters when you are pressing a stack of tortillas for a family meal rather than one or two.
